Systemic diversification - Management - Production -

Welcome to my website. I am Lorena Junghans, an impact producer originally from Romania, now based in Berlin. I have a passion for intersectional approaches and work extensively in management and production with directors, musicians, companies, and cultural creators around the globe.

I devote my energy to strategies that transform ideas into tangible actions and bridge gaps between theory and practice as well as between power and love. Fueled by curiosity, and with an insatiable tea habit, I actively seek to use resources to create spaces that foster positive change, the sharing of responsibility and meaningful relationships. Check out the spotlight section below for some of the artists and projects that are close to my heart at the moment.

Spotlight on

  • Rasha Nahas

    Musician/ Singer-Songwriter/ Palestine/ Berlin

Palestinian singer, composer and instrumentalist Rasha Nahas has a distinctive approach to songwriting, storytelling and performance. As a genre-defying, narrative-focused artist, Rasha Nahas has been crafting a keenly singular music universe, cultivated in and loyal to the underground. Driven by candid lyrics with disarming vulnerability, Rasha has created a sound that moves seamlessly between the resonances of the old school rock ‘n’ roll singer-songwriter era, and the anarchic heyday of ‘80s electronica.

Rasha’s critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Desert’, chronicled her journey from Haifa to Berlin. It was featured by BBC Radio 4’s Loose Ends and the Spotify-produced podcast, Spotify:Mic Check and led to Rasha being among the first to receive the Bertha Foundation's Artivism Award in 2022. Her two-chapter LP, 'Amrat', released in January 2023 via UK leading independent label Cooking Vinyl, with tours scheduled across Europe and West Asia. Rasha's first foray into Arabic-language lyrics, ‘Amrat’, is a sentimental body of work, maneuvering seamlessly between the thematic duality of urban and rural landscapes.

  • King Josephine

    Musician / Singer-Songwriter / Berlin

As a glimpse into her debut project, King Josephine recently unveiled the lead single "Sweet Craving" . This unique blend of electronic music, pop, and soul captivated hundred-thousand of listeners, garnering over 200,000 streams, appearing in more than 4000 playlists and securing radio airplay across Europe and the US.

King Josephine is a Berlin-based independent autodidact composer, multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter that bridges emotions with universal human themes across genres.

Collaborating with drummer and co-producer Giancarlo Mura for seven years, they have been crafting a soon to be released highly anticipated debut project.

    Stay tuned.

  • Ahmed Eid

    Musician /Palestine/ Germany

Meet Ahmed Eid, a multi-talented musician who has made a name for himself in both the European and West Asian-North Asian (WANA) music scenes. Ahmed is the co-founder, bassist, drummer, and singer-songwriter of the internationally renowned band Bukahara, which has played sold-out tours worldwide to tens of thousands of fans. In his upcoming project he will showcase his talents as a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and producer.

Ahmed Eid is also a socially engaged individual who seeks to empower and inspire the next generation of musicians. He recently founded and curated the Ramallah Music Space, a free course in the occupied West Bank that provides a safe space for young musicians to learn, write, produce, and perform music. The project is supported by travel grants from the Goethe Foundation and the Dalia Foundation.

  • CIRCE

    Creative Impact Research Centre Europe

This project aims to offer the knowledge and understanding needed to overcome the barriers that pioneering artists face in accessing funding, resources, and opportunities.

This research provides practical recommendations for supporting diversity and fostering inclusive collaborations. It’s built on the individual and collective experiences of artists and people in leadership positions who work with artists. Their perspectives offer insights and strategies for dismantling barriers and fostering meaningful change in the industry and society at large.

The approach is based on my previous practical work as a film producer. Through additional scientific studies I’ve conducted with the Digital media department of the Filmuniversity Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF I've gained a deep understanding of the barriers that marginalized artists often encounter when it comes to accessing funding, resources, and opportunities - and the need for new, sustainable business models.

  • Moody Kablawi

    Innovator / Producer / Palestine / Germany

Moody Kablawi is a Berlin-based music producer who creates an original fusion of TripHop, Disco, and Jazz. He has been using music as his primary creative tool to deal with social and political topics since he was 15.

Moody is currently performing with his new sound, which incorporates 80's sounds and techno elements, diving deep into the sound of Electro with his middle eastern touch and is working with various productions as light designer. His unique visual approach is portrayed in 2019s "Mali Mal" (GOT NO MONEY) music video, which features a pixelated Moody walking through pixelated streets as he experiences a different vision of his surroundings due to his Nystagmus Horizontal, – often called ‘dancing eyes’ due to it causing involuntary eye movement.

Moody has noticed a lack of creative hub structures for diaspora artists. To fill this gap, he is working with different bands from Palestine bringing their craft to the EU. Alongside other creators, they are developing different projects that aim on bringing artists together and provide them with tools and resources to help them grow and thrive, develop local structures, and create a sustainable network within national creative hubs.
